Tours you would recommend: San Juan: Old City, fort and Bacardi Rum. I would recommend the Old City and Fort portion but Bacardi was a disappointment. They have a building set up with history and they "tell" you about the distillation process but you do not go into the actual distillery. We had all gone through breweries before and expected to see more.

Did you explore any of the area on your own?: We used a mini bus on St. Thomas and the Dominican Republic and both worked very well and were less expensive.

What is one thing that everyone traveling to this area should see/do?: Be sure to get off the ship on EVERY island as they all have unique "personalities" and should be experienced individually.

Trip Overall: 5! We had eight family members -- mother, aunt, three siblings and spouses -- traveling together. It was a great family time, especially since "Mom" is 85 and going strong! We all enjoyed the time and experiencing new adventures together. It was great!
