Destination: Amsterdam, Brugge, Brussels

Hotel Name: Apollo, DeBarge, Eurostar, Crown Plaza

At the Apollo in Amsterdam we accessed our room by going up an elevator , walking down a long hallway then up a narrow spiral stairway. Fire exit was up a ladder to the roof. It didn't have airconditioning or a phone. Not that we needed it but the information we had recieved said they would be available. I would use this hotel again because the location was great but I would ask for a room NOT on the 4th floor.( There were only 4 rooms up there so it doesn't eliminate a lot of rooms. The other hotels were great.

We used trains, trams, buses, rented bikes and walked. It took some time to figure out how to do this but we did't want the constraints of a tour so it was fine. We toured museums-art, history, lace, beer, chocolate- old churchs, boat tours, and would recommend them all.

I recommend the people-watching them and talking to them.

 Trip Over-all:  4 We had to work to figure out where we wanted to go and how to get there but that was part of the adventure.
