We arrived safely home on Wed. night. Thank you
for arranging such a well-run trip for us. Princess Cruise Line has really mastered the logistics of this cruise.
We easily transferred from the airport in Vancouver to the ship on the 23rd and then from the ship to our train to Denali
after the cruise on the Inside Passage. They had things well organized every step of the way and have trained their
staff to be courteous, friendly and efficient.
Thank you for the book The Alaska Cruise Companion and the chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our
state room. We consulted the book often. We were so fortunate to have sunshine most of the trip. Ketchikan
and Juneau were rainy as they almost always are. But the rest of the time it was dry and most days were sunny.
While cruising in Glacier Bay and in College Fjord it was perfectly sunny and the naturalist on board the ship exclaimed frequently
that it was the best it had been all summer. Also in Denali we were lucky enough to see Mt. McKinley every day.
Fall has arrived in interior Alaska. It was beautiful.
Thanks again for arranging our trip. It was great.
