Tours:
In Ensenada
we took the Jeep off-roading & Wine tasting tour. Jenni recommended it as well as the cruise staff.
We would absolutely recommend this tour! It was VERY informative and we learned a lot about the
city and history of Ensenada. The winery we visited was VERY fancy and the only one in Mexico with a distillery.
The wine was VERY good and we purchased a bottle to take home. The Jeeps were air conditioned and
automatic and the picture taking opportunities were GREAT.
Did you explore any areas on your own?:
We weren't all that impressed with Cabo san Lucas.
From what we saw of it - it seemed like a white trash version of Cancun. Lots of loud music, tequila
and vendors trying to sell you everything under the sun. The beach was too steep to lay on and the surf
was too high to swim. There was a lot of people enjoying water toys (jet skies & wind surfing) but
not a lot on the beach. We rented a jet ski that didn't end up working very well.
Trip over-all: 5 - Cruising was perfect! It
was just enough relaxing to get us back on our pre-wedding feet, and just enough adventure to keep us excited!
And of course the food was AMAZING! It was the perfect way to celebrate our new lives together!
Thank you SOO much Jenni!
